Dunia Baru named best Asia Charter Yacht of the Year

51-metre superyacht, Dunia Baru has been named best Asia-based charter yacht of the year at the 2017 Asia Boating Awards. A field of seven finalists were in the running for the award, which is part of an event created by Asia Pacific Boating and China Boating magazines.

The event celebrates the best of the superyacht industry in Asia, and the team behind Dunia Baru were thrilled to see her innovative approach to guest enjoyment recognised. Director of Operations, Courtney Robba, was on hand in Singapore to collect the award at a glittering evening held at One 15 Marina. “We appreciate this award and the way it stands for recognition of yachts which work to their own unique lines in order to provide a great charter experience,” says Dunia Baru owner, Mark Robba.

“Dunia Baru’s crew make it their business to know the secret anchorages, exemplary diving spots, and guest preferences in order to provide an elevated charter experience.”

Dunia Baru has finessed the art of combining cultural flavour and flair, with international-standard systems and service for an immersive guest experience that celebrates local cultures and destinations. "Congratulations to this year's Asia-Boating Awards winners and nominees. These are the brands, builders, yacht clubs, marinas, companies and people who are working so hard to keep up with the rapidly growing popularity of boating in the region," says John Higginson, Editor-in-Chief of Asia-Pacific Boating magazine.

The yacht will be cruising Nusa Tenggara region, covering the island chain from Lombok to Alor from this April through to September. She's available through the year for charter in Myanmar, Thailand and Indonesia. To charter Dunia Baru, please speak to your preferred broker.
