Which show is right for you?

Northrop & Johnson's stand at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show

When faced with the line up of established and new-on-the-scene industry shows in the calendar year, picking which ones to allocate your budget to can be daunting. There's the big boys - the Monaco Yacht Show, METS, and Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show - and there's the smaller shows which are highly relevant for certain sectors, or in certain geographic locations. As part of the service we offer, we help clients choose the show or shows which best match their product or service. If you're an owner or guest-facing company, it's likely we'll match you with experience-heavy shows and events. Anyone who needs to convert the end user to make a sale for example, probably shouldn't head to METS. But they very much should be heading to events where owners and those responsible for the guest experience come to meet and play. Then there's the companies who need to appeal to the end user, but equally, need captains and senior crew to fall in love with the technical appeal of what they're selling. For these companies we advise they walk the charter and brokerage shows to keep their networking ties strong, and invest in a stand at the industry shows where build and refit captains come to seriously buy. Of course, turning up at the show is a quarter of the equation. Proper pre-show prep is the key to getting the most out of your time onsite and we're adept at making sure you've started the right conversations before you get there. So where will you head this year? Charter shows, brokerage shows, regattas, trade shows, or rendezvous? Give us a call to set your game plan and get returns from your show budget.
